About
Engineering applied to biology.
I'm William Kasel. 37. Tech founder for 15 years. CTO at Loop. Based in LA.
I've built apps with 100M+ downloads, sold companies, been first employee at a data unicorn, and worked with Disney, Nike, and Best Buy before I was 25.
None of that fixed the fact that my body was falling apart.
Two years ago I started applying the same systematic thinking I use to build products to understanding my own biology. I sequenced my genome, analyzed 178 genetic variants, ran comprehensive bloodwork, and rebuilt my entire health protocol from the data up.
Now I share everything publicly — the data, the protocols, the tools, the mistakes. Because health optimization shouldn't be a black box.
The Approach
Treat your body like a system.
01
Sequence
Full genome analysis — 23andMe raw data + imputed variants
02
Interpret
Cross-reference against ClinVar, PharmGKB, published literature
03
Protocol
Design interventions with medical team based on genetic data
04
Track
Longitudinal bloodwork to measure what actually changes
05
Share
Publish everything openly — data, protocols, reasoning
Career
15 years of building things.
Everything on this site is one person's data. Not medical advice.
